Minutes from the  Project Meeting-------------15th September, 2020

  1. Serkan has created the TwinSpace for our project  at the e-twinning website. You are mostly welcomed to upload various materials at this site.

  2. Currently every partner school is working on self-presentations of our students participating in the project. The presentation can be made in Power Point, Word or other software and application. Later every school will choose and upload a number of presentations into our TwinSpace at the e-twinnng so that other schools have got an access to all presentations. The deadline is 15 October, 2020.

  3. Antonio and the Portuguese school is coordinating the logo contest. Each school will select the three best works and send them at Antonio’s e-mail address by 15 October, 2020.  The works will be published at our TwinSpace. By the end of October, 2020, the winners of the contest will announced at out TwinSpace.

  4. By the end of October, 2020, Petra and her team will design a project website where we will also publish our works and results. This website will be accessible to the general public.

  5. In October, 2020 we are going to organize a videoconference for our students. They will talk about their schools and countries using tools available at the TwinSpace.

  6. Towards the end of October, we will concentrate on CVs and letters of application. First we should teach students how to write them and later make them do the task.  Selected CVs and letters of application will be uploaded into out TwinSpace. Because of the image and personal data regulations, students may prepare the CVs with fake information about themselves.

  7. As far as the mobilities are concerned, we will discuss them in the first week of December, 2020. Then we will decide whether we organize the first mobilities in spring 2021.

  8. Before each mobility, the host country should prepare a quidebook presenting the biggest touristic attractions in an area and the region. That’s the recommendation of the National Agency and it is a reasonable idea.

  9. The partners suggested we should start a What’s up group for a quick exchange of ideas. The project coordinator will collect all mobile phone numbers and create such a group.

  10. The evaluation of our project will start from a quiz in which we will ask our students about the fact how life skills have been taught so far in their schools. The questions and the quiz itself will be prepared by Denisa, Janka and their team in Slovakia. They will also include some questions about the Covid-19.

  11. Alina from Romania will write a dissemination plan for project and distribute it to every coordinator of the project. She also mentioned that we would have to present, in our final report, the impact the project had done on our participants. We should find indicators and measure them throughout the project. In this scope, Alina will cooperate with Denisa and the Slovak school.

  12. Alina pointed out we needed to use different methods of teaching life skills to our youth. In the project itself, there are only two methods mentioned, that is STEM and CLIL. After a short analysis of this topic, Alina and Denisa proposed  project-based, story-based and game-based methods. All partners will think about this issue and we will discuss it during the next project meeting in November, 2020.

Minutes from the  Project Meeting-----------------30th November, 2020

  1. Thank you to those who have already uploaded all the materials produced by the students (self-presentations  and CVs as well as letters of application/cover letters) into the TwinSpace.

  2. Our next task is that each country chooses 5 professions/occupations and prepares presentations of the professions and  their descriptions in the Word software. Before starting the work, each school sends the names of their selected professions to Petra and Rovena to make sure the professions won’t double with the choice of other countries. Ready-made presentations shall also be sent to Petra and Rovena to create one digital guidebook of the professions developed by all partner countries. The guidebook will be published at the TwinSpace and our website as well as local or school websites. The deadline for this task is December 31st, 2020.

  3. Next week Antonio is going to send to all of us the results of the logo contest. The winning logo will be published at the TwinSpace and our website. It will be used in other various ways throughout the project as well.

  4. Petra has created our project website. She will send the link to the website to each school coordinator. We are supposed to keep sending her all the materials, we want to be placed at the website, to Petra. She will publish them there. The first topic we should send tohe concerns information about our schools. You should write a short description of your school and attach some photos of your school, too. The deadline for this task is again the end of December, 2020.

  5. In the second half of January, 2021, we will organize another  virtual meeting of our students. This time the topic of that meeting will be to present the selected guidebook professions as well as say a few words about your school and country.

  6. As far as the mobilities are concerned, we will see how the situation in Europe develops and if it gets better we may plan to go on the first trip in May or June, 2021. Besides, Justyna will ask the National Agency if there is a possibility to extend the project till the year 2023.

  7. Denisa and Janka have sent us the link to the evaluation quiz. We have decided to complete the evaluation quiz by the beginning of January 2021. We have also decided that at least 20 students from each country will do the evaluation quiz. The results of the quiz will be published at the TwinSpace and the website by the end of January, 2021.

  8.  In February, 2021 Alina and her team will  hold a 2-hour workshop on the STEAM method of teaching.

  9. We have mentioned one of the pedagogical methods we would like to implement into the project and which is a story-based method. Alina will come up with a way to incorporate it into our project and present it during our next meeting in February, 2021.
